Albino Plastic Squirrel

I got a message from the man behind Albino Squirrel around two or three years ago. He reviewed a song I had up on Acidplanet, and was curious how I had created a certain effect on it. The song "Free" is a live recording, I'm not sure where it was recorded but it sounds like it must have been recorded sometime in the late '80s or early '90s.

Incoming Messages Cassette EP

The Incoming Messages Cassette EP is a five track album and was created in 2006. The music was centered around an answering machine message cassette tape. The tape was found in an old answering machine my uncle brought to my house when I lived on St. Johns in the late 90's. He had gotten it from some people he worked for. They were relatives of my aunt's husband.

Calamity Jane served up gritty, Riot Grrl Punk in an era when Grunge was a guy thing. Although some of the band's female lineup later moved into playing new forms of Indie Rock (with other Northwest bands such as No. 2 and the Spinanes), this rocket-fueled foursome is still a force to be reckoned with.

From Austin Texas, 12 FlOZ was a New Wave band active from 1997 to 2001.

We were what we were but were we all that we could be?
Our little band was what it was. Friends having a good time trying to play our little Instruments. We consisted of, although not all at the same time - Amy, Stephanie, Jools, Stepahnie, Steve and Sean. Our one and only gig as a party at the Rabb house in which sean started to improv a Beatles song and amy left the stage to mingle with the crowd. Ahhh the memories. We were acitve from 1997 to around 2001 I suppose. So that other Band with our name needs to cease and desist or We will sue your asses. We were first. But then again I seem to remember that Amy and Stephanie wanted us to be called ''Sean + Lovely''

Bran-Doe was a Myspace band whose page no longer exists. They were featured on the Ear Death blog two years ago.

RIP BRANDOE... we broke up. Bran-Doe was always a project the three of us talked about. and one night after being really messed up we decided that it was time to pursue our goals in life. We decided to start with small short songs about the world. And emotions. And the way we feel about things. We aren't really Christians even though some songs may make you think we are.
