Ye Are My Witnesses

Ye Are My Witnesses: The Sounds of Emmanuel was released by Crusade Enterprises in the 1970's and was recorded somewhere in Washington. The album is composed of Christian Choir teenagers coming together from various parts of Washington to sing on this album. The album has a lo-fi DIY approach to it, with traditionalist Christian songs. There are a few stand out tracks, two of which I will present here. 'Restless One', has an almost ominous tone to it, with jazz-like percussion and bass while 'This Is My Country' is a joyful track featuring vocals over piano.

Failing Love is/was an experimental artist living from Little Town, Washington. Here is the emotionally powerful 'Bone Bones' track from the 'Doubts' album, recorded in 2008.

Dead Tiger

Portland, Oregon's Dead Tiger produced an interesting sound when I first heard them in 2006 or 2007. I'm not sure if they're still active, but judging from their Myspace page, I would say probably not. You can check them out here:
